All of our orders are bespoke commissions, where you are involved in the design process, from an initial consultation through to your finished item.
Jamie started his traditional apprenticeship in 2004, working in his family’s shop as a bench jeweller, alongside his father. He was able to learn on-the-job, manufacturing and repairing jewellery of all types.
Jamie has a particular interest in traditional and historical techniques. When he and his wife, Helen, started the business in 2015, their aim was to take jewellery manufacturing away from mass-production and back to unique, handcrafted pieces.
They spent nine years working from a home workshop, before moving into his father’s premises on Cheapside in Derby in 2024.
Jamie has an academic career in Anglo-Saxon and Medieval jewellery, through which he has worked with various universities and institutions in the UK.
